OAuth Authentication
StandardOAuth Authentication enables you to log into Guardsix SIEM using OAuth 2.0. The application uses authorization tokens to allow authenticated access to servers and applications.
Key Information
OAuth v6.1.2 does not support Guardsix SIEM v7.9.0. If you are using SIEM v7.9.0, download and install OAuth v6.0.6.
Enhancement
You can now map a unique user attribute from your identity provider to the Guardsix SIEM username using the new username mapping field in the OAuth configuration. Previously, the username was derived from the display name, so changing a user's display name in the identity provider created a new account at the next login.

For users signing in through Microsoft Entra ID, the configured Role Field was ignored, and they were assigned the default OAuth role instead of the role mapped to them.
